I took Sofia to the "Colors of the Oasis" ikats exhibit at the Seattle Asian Art Museum today. It was my third time and I can't get enough! It is fabulous. It closes on Sunday... get there if you can! I don't have any pictures from the exhibit (photography is not allowed) but I did find this fabulous blog with great photos of the traveling exhibit when it was in D.C. I couldn't agree with the blogger more that it "was a visual treat for the eye. For anyone interested in fabrics and colors a trip to this little jewel box of a museum is a must." I snapped a few shots outside of SAAM to whet your appetite.
We're off to Tahoe - our colorful oasis - for two weeks!
